Women’s League’s STEAM Learning Coach featured in Teaching Young Children!
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation’s leading professional membership organization for the early childhood community, with nearly 60,000 individual members. All are committed to delivering on the promise of high-quality early learning.
Women’s League STEAM Learning Lab Coach, Beulah Wiggins (“Ms. B”), was featured in a cover story in NAEYC’s 2025 winter issue on integrating equitable science, technology, engineering, and math learning into preschool and kindergarten.
We are overjoyed to receive this national recognition!
Our New STEAM Learning Lab is Open!
The bright and colorful learning space on the second floor of Women’s League was designed with input from teachers, parents, and educational experts. The new learning lab houses a mini greenhouse, a wind tunnel, a magnetic gear wall, building materials, a conveyor belt, laptop computers, and a broad range of interactive learning materials designed for exploration and manipulation. WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING
Melinda Johnson, a mother of two children who attend Women’s League, spoke at the launch event for our new STEAM Lab. She said, “I’m elated that there’s a place in our community where my children can touch and explore and experience freely.”
